The Ocean Cleanup will soon enter the EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation) phase of the pilot project. At a US West Coast location, most likely San Francisco, we will assemble the first section of the Ocean Cleanup Pilot Barrier and deploy it in the ocean for testing, monitoring and subsequential retrieval, improvement and redeployment.
In order to start this most crucial phase, we are seeking our first local “(wo)man on the ground” who will seek out a construction site & office locations, establish contacts with local authorities, partners and suppliers, attract workforce and the site team in concert with the Project Manager EPCI.
The function will be required during January-March 2017 and reports to the COO.
- Experience in offshore or marine projects
- Experience with construction site management and offshore installation management
- Permit to work in the US is required
- Excellent command of the English language required
