Project Manager EPCI

When The Ocean Cleanup leaves basic engineering and enters the EPCI phase of the project, we will encounter special challenges realizing a permanently moored floating construction far from any shore. In order to complete this most crucial phase successfully, we are hiring a Project Manager EPCI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet the project’s targets in terms of timeliness, budget and quality
  • Lead the project team, making sure team members meet their individual targets without losing team targets out of sight
  • Make use of reporting and planning structures and phases…
  •  …but let structures not interfere with the ultimate project terms, i.e. improvise where needed
  • Drive the cooperation with partners, contractors and suppliers
  • Be a good boss, i.e. support team members where needed, ensuring their personal growth, while giving both ad hoc and scheduled feedback
  • Report to the COO

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 7-10 years work experience in offshore/maritime project or installation management
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Permit to work in the US is required
