After full-scale deployment in the North Pacific gyre, also known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, we intend on gradually expanding to the other four gyres.
The revenue gained by recycling and reselling the extracted plastic from the North Pacific gyre to B2C companies, will help fund the expansion of our cleanup efforts to the other four gyres. These are the other four gyres, in order of expansion; Indian Ocean, North Atlantic, South Atlantic and South Pacific.
The plastic ending up circulating in these gyres will not go away by itself, but instead breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces. It is therefore crucial to clean them up as soon as possible, before it is too late. Besides tackling the gyres, we also consider developing spin-off systems closer to the source in the future, to intercept plastic before it reaches the ocean.
Is your company interested in buying our recycled plastic in the future, helping us fund the cleanup expansion? Please send us an email via our website contact form to discuss a potential collaboration opportunity.
